Define the corporate deliverable before requesting gear

Make the station repeatable without pretending every face is the same

Record focal length, camera height, exposure, white balance, flash setting and modifier orientation. Lock manual exposure and white balance only after a representative test is approved. Recheck whenever a window changes, a light moves or the client changes the crop.

Repeatable does not mean rigid. Adjust chair height, camera height and pose for each person while preserving the approved face size and light direction. Watch glasses, hair, mobility needs and comfort. If a subject needs a different position, solve the portrait deliberately and then restore the station from the marks before the next person.

Use a simple slate or approved identifier that cannot appear in the delivered frame. Confirm the file on the capture device before releasing the subject, then verify that the name or ID maps to the right images. A perfect lighting diagram does not repair a mislabeled employee set.

Verify the chain at pickup and troubleshoot by function

The flash slows or misses
